Venture Capital Internal Rates of Return
Venture Capital (VC) Fund returns are often obscured from the public. It turns out that some public limited partners (LPs), are required to publish the Internal Rates of Return (IRR) they have received from their private equity investments.There appears to be some obfuscation related to these public disclosures. LPs sometimes post them at obscure URLs and/or don't link to them from prominent pages. Further, some VC funds refuse to accept money from LPs that have these disclosure requirements.VC IRR aims to bring a little transparency to this asset class by assembling a list of these very interesting disclosures:
